The mind behind the madness

381655_512804642076996_280606157_nMy name is Mitch Kliegl. I have spent my whole life surrounded by the military. The US Army has depicted my family’s destiny for the past 30 years. Having a parent in the military is quite the experience. My father was in the military for 24 years before retiring in 2006. Since my father was in the Army, I never really got comfortable enough to spread my roots being that we only lived in a certain place for a span of about 2 or 3 years before having to move to another location. It is both a good thing and a bad thing. It is a good thing because we got the opportunity to see so many wonderful things and places. On the other hand, it is a bad thing because you have to learn to make “short term friends”, which is sometimes depressing and difficult.

Over the duration of my life I have lived in 4 states and a different country. I was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After I was born my family moved to Sauk Rapids, MN. After 3 years of living there we moved to Seoul, South Korea. We lived in Seoul for about 2 years before moving to Fort Stewart, GA. My family and spent another 2 year tour in GA before moving to Plattsmouth, NE. After9years of living in NE, I moved to Maryville, MO to attend Northwest Missouri State University.

While studying here at NWMSU I have been studying Military Science through Reserve Officer’s Training Coups (ROTC) while majoring in Business Management.
